Elisabetta “Leeza” Di Stefano was born on the border of Bushwick Brooklyn & Ridgewood, Queens. She was raised in Queens by her off the boat Sicilian parents (This also makes her bilingual, speaking Italian and English).
After graduating from SUNY Fashion Institute of Technology with an A.A.S in Communication Design and a B.F.A. in Graphic Design, Magna Cum Laude in 2008, she went into Personal Training for 4 years and presently still works with clients based on independent contract. (ISSA certified/Boxing Fitness Certified) She competed in NPC Figure in 2009 placing 5th at the NPC Suburban in NJ. She is now finishing her first Masters of Communication Design with emphasis in packaging design at Pratt Institute; however, she is also pursuing a second M.S. degree in City & Regional Planning (Urban Planning). As a native New Yorker, Leeza takes pride in her multicultural city and would like to see communities be much more interwoven.
Current President of Pratt Institute Student Government Association ’12–’13. Previous position: Graduate Concerns [2 year term] Graduate Communication Design Fellow at Pratt Center for Community Development; Type Directors Club Pratt Student Group Founded in 2011 | Current Chair-woman.
